Depth Estimation

Depth Estimation is the task of inferring the distance of objects from a camera using 2D images or video. It can be achieved via stereo vision, monocular CNNs (e.g., MiDaS), or LiDAR fusion. Accurate depth maps enable applications like augmented reality (AR), robot navigation, and autonomous driving, where understanding the 3D structure of the environment is critical.
