License plate recognition (LPR) is an intelligent recognition technology combining image acquisition, character segmentation and OCR technology. It automatically extracts information such as vehicle license plate number and license plate color. It is widely used in traffic scenarios such as smart parking, expressway toll collection, traffic violation capture and community vehicle management.
